Join Magnit as a 2nd Line Support Engineer to resolve incidents, monitor system performance, and collaborate with development teams.
Responsibilities
### Responsibilities
- Resolve incidents based on user requests
- Process and eliminate monitoring events
- Address failures and their consequences identified by the monitoring system
- Control performance to prevent degradation of the information system
- Analyze problems and formulate preventive measures
- Create and update monitoring and control points
- Form and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base
- Update and control the implementation of changes
- Resolve organizational issues
- Interact with the 3rd line support to solve problems
Requirements
### Requirements
- Confident knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle, ability to write and optimize queries, and understanding of database principles, including indexes, jobs, and basic administration aspects
- General understanding of information system architecture, principles of service integration, and basic knowledge of object-oriented programming to navigate system logic and interact with development
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Grafana or similar systems, and ability to analyze logs to find incident causes
- Independence in seeking information, correlating data from different sources, and making decisions based on analysis
