Responsibilities

- Create manual character and creature animations
- Process and refine mocap
- Work with animation libraries: organization, naming conventions, maintenance
- Refine facial expressions and emotional states
- Integrate animations into Unreal Engine 5
- Participate in mocap sessions
- Actively communicate with game designers and programmers regarding gameplay animation requirements
- Maintain visual style and quality consistency in the project
- Participate in reviews
Requirements
### Requirements
- Experience as a 3D animator in game development or CG
- Good sense of posing, spacing, timing
- Skills in skinning and rigging
- Proficient in Maya
- Deep understanding of animation principles and character animation
- Knowledge of human and animal anatomy and biomechanics
- Experience with mocap
- Experience integrating animations into Unreal Engine 5
- Understanding of gameplay animation specifics
- Strong artistic foundation: understanding of acting, weight, rhythm, expressiveness of movement
