Job description
We are developing a 3D Action Adventure game in Unity for PC, focusing on emotional and symbolic semi-realism. The story revolves around childhood and the importance of parental relationships.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine 3D character and prop models.
- Model and asset nature environments.
- Work with materials, textures, and simple shaders.
- Participate in shaping the visual style of the game.
- Optimize models and assets for mid-range hardware.
- Collaborate with game designers, animators, and programmers.
Requirements
- Experience in creating 3D assets for games (commercial or pet projects): characters and/or environments.
- Understanding the difference between stylization and photorealism; ability to work in stylized semi-realism.
- Proficient in Blender and understanding of export pipeline and working in Unity.
- Independence: ability to plan tasks, meet deadlines, and complete work without constant supervision.
- Willingness to work on a RevShare basis (profit sharing from the project).
- Interest in long-term collaboration and releasing the project on Steam.
- Responsibility, initiative, and honesty in communication.
- Bonus: experience working in indie teams, sculpting skills, experience with vegetation/asset packs for nature, basic technical art skills (shaders, pipelines), portfolio with atmospheric locations or stylized characters.
