Job description
Molecule and BIO.xyz are building the foundation of Decentralized Science (DeSci) — where biotech meets web3 to make scientific research community-owned, transparent, and faster to market. Molecule provides the infrastructure to turn intellectual property (IP) into programmable, on-chain assets through our IP-NFT framework and evolving protocol stack. This enables researchers, patients, and communities to fund and govern biotech projects in new, open ways. [BIO.xyz](http://Bio.xyz) is the coordination and economic layer of DeSci, powering BioDAOs through funding, governance, and ecosystem alignment. Together, we are creating a new model for scientific discovery — one where breakthroughs are owned and advanced by the communities that believe in them.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy fleets of scientific agents spanning literature mining, target identification, molecular design, assay design, and data analysis
- Pilot each fleet against a specific disease area and drive it to a tangible deliverable — a validated target, a candidate molecule, a novel dataset, an IP-NFT
- Run multiple fleets in parallel across disease areas, reporting results directly to the CEO
- Own the full stack: agent design, orchestration, evaluation, and scientific judgment on outputs
- Define and set the standard for how autonomous science gets done at Molecule
Requirements
- **Entrepreneurial to the core.** You ship. You don't wait for permission.
- **Technically deep** across LLMs, agent frameworks, and at least one wet-science domain - chemistry, biology, pharma, structural biology, or genomics
- **Comfortable with ambiguity.** You may be the only person in the room who knows how to do what you do, and that energizes you
- **Credential-agnostic.** PhD, MSc, BSc, or straight from high school - output matters, not titles. If you hold a degree, it should be from a top-tier institution (Oxbridge, Ivy League, MIT, Caltech, Stanford, ETH/EPFL, Imperial, or equivalent). If you skipped the degree, show us what you built instead.
