Associate Recruiter – Emerging Talent

### Responsibilities - Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the company. - Create and post job descriptions on various job boards, social media platforms, and other relevant channels. - Utilize different sourcing methods to attract passive candidates, including social media, networking events, and employee referrals. - Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit. - Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. - Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process. - Promote the company's employer brand and culture to attract top talent. - Plan and attend University Career Fairs, 'Hackathons,' and other recruiting events as needed. - Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activity. - Assist in the preparation and delivery of job offers to successful candidates. - Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and key metrics to HR management. - And other duties as assigned. ### New Graduate Hires Team Responsibilities - Own and manage Hut 8's university recruiting program, including building relationships with career centers, faculty, and student organizations at target schools. - Plan, coordinate, and attend on-campus and virtual career fairs, hackathons, case competitions, and other campus recruiting events. - Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to attract top graduating talent across engineering, computer science, finance, and other relevant disciplines. - Partner with hiring managers to define entry-level role requirements and build structured internship-to-full-time pipelines. - Track and analyze campus recruiting metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness and expand Hut 8's campus presence.

### Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR role. - Familiarity with a variety of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and job board management. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously. - Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software. - High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information. - Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is energized by ambiguity and change rather than slowed down by it. - Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite in our Miami, Brickell office. ### Nice to Have - Experience recruiting within technology, energy, infrastructure, or other high-growth industries. - Exposure to employer branding initiatives or early talent/campus recruiting programs. - Experience working within a high-growth or scaling organization where processes are still being built.
