The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) is a non-profit organization focused on creating equitable access to the global financial system through blockchain technology via the Stellar network. Since 2014, SDF has fueled the growth of the Stellar blockchain, an open-source platform for financial products and services. The Experiential Marketing team brings the Stellar network to life through creative and immersive environments.
Responsibilities

- Own the creative vision and execution across all touchpoints.
- Lead brand and design output for digital, campaigns, brand activations, and events.
- Establish and evolve Stellar’s visual identity as the blockchain for financial services.
- Manage and mentor a design team.
- Own external agency and production vendor relationships.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated creative strategies.
- Pitch creative concepts to leadership.
- Improve team workflows and introduce new visual ideas.
Requirements
### Requirements
- 7+ years of design experience.
- At least 2 years leading or managing a design team.
- Strong portfolio reflecting craft and leadership.
- Deep expertise in building and stewarding brand identity systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience directing motion, video, and production partners.
- Genuine curiosity about blockchain, fintech, or Web3 space.
- Bonus points for experience in crypto, DeFi, or financial technology marketing.
