- Develop system software: hybrid storage systems, scale-out storage systems, monitoring systems, and internal development tools.
- Develop Linux kernel-level modules for file, block, and network subsystems.
- Research third-party software.
- Work with source code in various programming languages.
- Document source code, methodologies, and research.
- Maintain software by developing patches and consulting engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in C development.
- Experience in system programming with C, ASM.
- Proficient in two scripting languages (Bash, Python, sh, ksh).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX/BSD kernel architecture.
- Experience in system programming on Linux/UNIX/BSD.
- English proficiency for reading and understanding documentation.
