Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate contracts for different business lines and provide holistic risk assessment.
- Partner with cross-functional and regional teams on transactional matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, including data privacy and protection regulations.
- Provide proactive, business-focused advice on commercial and data privacy matters.
- Manage legal efforts in response to company matters, including data breach incidents.
- Advise on data privacy impact assessments and cross-border data transfers.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 5-8 years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience with tech contracts, e-commerce, fintech or payments, and data privacy compliance.
- Strong team player with good business sense.
- Solid legal technical expertise and sound business judgment.
- Hands-on and independent in managing complex projects.
- Excellent legal drafting and interpretation skills.
