Job description
Join Binance as a Compliance Geofencing Team Lead to manage a team of analysts, ensuring quality and compliance in geofencing processes while mitigating risks and enhancing controls.
Responsibilities
### Job Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Geofencing Analysts, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to SLAs across the team. - Allocate and oversee team workload, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement in geofencing processes. - Act as the primary escalation point for complex geofencing cases, key risks, and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication to senior management. - Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of geofencing controls by reviewing, investigating alerts, and refining workflows. - Monitor and analyze AML-related risks associated with geofencing, staying updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to high-risk customers, jurisdictions, and business partners. - Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Participate in internal audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives related to screening and geofencing processes. - Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and support relationship management with external partners as needed. - Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other relevant subjects for the team. - Contribute to the development and refinement of geofencing policies, procedures, workflows and training. - Handle general administration and ancillary activities related to the above functions in accordance with business requirements.
Requirements
### Requirements - Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, financial crime compliance, or related fields, with hands-on experience in sanctions preferred. - Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, and compliance processes and technologies. - Minimum 1–2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. - ACAMS/CAMS/CCAS/ICA certification or equivalent highly preferred. - Fluent in English; Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and manage analyst-level staff. - Strong time management, organizational, and stakeholder relationship skills. - Adaptable in an evolving, fast-moving environment and experience working collaboratively across functions and geographies. - Proactive, pragmatic, and eager to learn with a critical and innovative mindset. - Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. - Commitment to upholding Binance’s values and compliance standards.
