Compliance Intern

- Assist in conducting research and analyzing regulations affecting the company’s operations. - Support the team with preparing and reviewing compliance documentation. - Assist with monitoring internal policies and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. - Contribute to cross-department projects and collaborate with different teams to support compliance goals.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Detail-oriented with the ability to approach tasks methodically. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work well within a team. - Some exposure to compliance processes is beneficial. - A basic understanding of financial regulations and compliance frameworks is advantageous.

Xapo Bank is a private bank headquartered in Gibraltar that provides banking services integrated with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, including secure storage, USD deposits, stock trading for non-US clients, and interest-bearing Bitcoin and fiat accounts. It operates globally as a licensed virtual asset service provider (VASP) by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, originally starting as a Bitcoin wallet service with cold storage and debit card in 2014. The bank emphasizes military-grade security for Bitcoin holdings, which are never rehypothecated, and protects USD deposits up to £120,000 under the Gibraltar Deposit Guarantee Scheme.
