Spice IT is looking for a Senior Data Scientist / Deep Learning Engineer with expertise in neural networks, time series, and NLP. Join a remote team focused on developing credit scoring models.
Responsibilities
### Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D on training neural network models on near-raw sequence data.
- Focus on building neural networks for assessing the creditworthiness of individuals at various stages of the customer lifecycle (pre-approval, application review, collection, bankruptcy).
- Full cycle work on the model: from order stage to production deployment.
- Collaborate with product verticals in formalizing business initiatives and defending results in the DS responsibility area.
Requirements

- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Experience in classical NLP (BERT) / transformers (focus only on LLM experience is not suitable).
- Experience with sequences and time series.
- Experience with recurrent neural networks (RNN, LSTM, GRU) is a plus.
- Experience with large datasets (samples of 1+ million observations x 1000+ features).
- Excellent SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases and enterprise data warehouses (Greenplum, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience in the fintech sector (credit bureaus, banks, microfinance organizations, etc.) is a plus.
