Job description
Join Croc as a DevOps Engineer to develop and enhance services on a Kubernetes-based platform, automate deployment processes, and support CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
### Your Tasks
- Participate in the development and enhancement of platform services based on Kubernetes, implementing new solutions and improving existing ones with the team;
- Automate deployment processes and support the rollout of services into production, maintaining and developing CI/CD pipelines;
- Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.) for infrastructure management;
- Advise developers on the integration of services with Kubernetes and other platform components;
- Assist in resolving L3 client tickets, providing technical expertise for the support team;
- Optionally participate in technical PR: write articles, prepare materials, and presentations for internal and external events.
Requirements
### Our Expectations
- Excellent knowledge of Linux and experience in system administration;
- Confident experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker/CRI);
- Practical experience in building CI/CD (GitLab CI or similar);
- Experience with monitoring and alerting systems (VictoriaMetrics, OpenSearch, Prometheus, AlertManager, Grafana);
- Experience with storage and backup systems in Kubernetes (Longhorn, Velero, Ceph, MinIO);
- Understanding of network protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.;
- Ability to work at the intersection of development, operations, and support.
