Job description
Wintermute is one of the largest algorithmic trading companies in digital assets, providing liquidity across major cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms. Responsibilities
- Own production stability and incident response for the OTC Trading platform during US market hours
- Technically onboard and support counterparties integrating via FIX-API
- Manage the counterparty integration pipeline
- Guide counterparties through the FIX conformance testing process
- Gather feedback from trading partners and improve product and engineering roadmaps
- Act as the first point of escalation for platform incidents
- Collaborate with London and Singapore DevOps teams
- Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Automate operational workflows
- Contribute to runbooks and operational best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles
- Experience communicating with external counterparties
- Knowledge of FIX protocol, SQL, networking fundamentals
- Strong scripting skills (Python)
- Experience with low-latency or high-availability systems
- Expertise with Linux production environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana)
- Excellent communication skills
