Job description
Join Magnit as a DevOps Engineer to support and develop HashiCorp Vault clusters, manage access control systems, and automate processes using Python and Ansible.
Responsibilities
### Responsibilities
- Support and develop HashiCorp Vault clusters: ensure fault tolerance, performance, manage updates and unseal processes.
- Configure and develop access management systems: ACL policies, OIDC/JWT, integrations with LDAP / Active Directory, token and secret rotation.
- Integrate Vault with platform services: connect applications to API, configure dynamic secrets (PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ), manage PKI and TLS.
- Develop monitoring and auditing: set up metrics (VictoriaMetrics / Grafana), analyze audit logs, integrate with SIEM.
- Participate in the development of engineering culture: write ADR and runbooks, conduct tech sessions, establish Vault usage standards.
- Automate processes: write scripts (Python / Go), use Ansible, integrate solutions into CI/CD (GitLab).
Requirements
### Requirements
- Experience with Vault (or strong DevOps background with understanding of secrets management principles; experience with Vault is a big plus).
- Understanding of fault-tolerant system architecture and security principles (zero-trust, encryption, secret management).
- Understanding of networks and TLS (mTLS, certificates, reverse proxy).
- Experience with Kubernetes (deployment via Helm / Operator, working with secrets).
- Automation skills (Ansible, scripts in Python or Go).
- Experience in setting up monitoring and logging.
- Understanding of CI/CD and working with secrets in pipelines.
