Spice IT is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote position, focusing on CI/CD, server administration, and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and promote DevOps culture with development and testing teams.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, optimize and automate processes.
- Administer servers and virtual machines, configure load balancers, and protect against DDoS attacks.
- Configure networks, administer DNS, and ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform.
- Set up monitoring and alerting systems, analyze logs, and resolve failures.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, including cluster deployment.
- Optimize HA solutions for databases like Redis, Kafka, and MySQL.
- Automate infrastructure processes with scripts in Python/Golang.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, and Grafana.
- Practical experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with bare-metal server hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on Debian/Ubuntu servers.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like QEMU KVM and Proxmox VE.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and network routing.
- Experience configuring Nginx web servers.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, ArgoCD, and Flux.
- Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
