Job description
Bullish is an institutionally focused global digital asset platform that provides market infrastructure and information services. These include:
- **Bullish Exchange** – a regulated and institutionally focused digital assets spot and derivatives exchange.
- **CoinDesk Indices** – a collection of tradable proprietary and single-asset benchmarks and indices.
- **CoinDesk Data** - a broad suite of digital assets market data and analytics.
- **CoinDesk Insights** – a digital asset media and events provider.
Responsibilities
### Key Responsibilities:
- **Regulatory Compliance:** Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program.
- **AML/CTF:** Serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and oversee AML/CTF policies.
- **Regulatory Liaison:** Act as the primary liaison with the SFC and other regulatory bodies.
- **Policy Development:** Draft, review, and update internal compliance policies.
- **Compliance Monitoring:** Design and implement a compliance monitoring program.
- **Risk Management:** Work with the risk management team to mitigate compliance risks.
- **New Products:** Provide compliance guidance for new products and services.
- **Technology:** Collaborate with technology teams to ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity.
Requirements
### Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional compliance certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CFE, CPA) are highly desirable.
- 8-10 years of experience in a senior compliance role within financial services in Hong Kong.
- Direct experience with SFC-regulated entities.
- Experience with cryptocurrency or virtual asset businesses is a significant advantage.
- Proven expertise in AML/CTF programs, including KYC and transaction monitoring.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
