Responsibilities
- Lead the frontend team: planning, task prioritization, and workload distribution
- Conduct regular 1:1s, support engineers’ growth, and build a strong team culture
- Ensure predictable and high-quality product delivery (development, QA, releases)
- Improve and evolve engineering processes and development standards
- Design architecture of complex frontend systems and key application components
- Stay hands-on when needed: code reviews, complex tasks, and critical features
- Increase team efficiency by introducing modern tools, including AI
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development (JavaScript, TypeScript, React)
- Proven experience leading a development team of 3+ engineers
- Strong ability to design architecture of complex applications
- Solid understanding of browser internals and performance optimization
- Experience building and improving engineering processes (planning, delivery, QA, release)
- Hands-on experience with testing (unit, integration, E2E)
- Leadership experience: mentoring, giving feedback, and taking ownership of outcomes
