Odd Meter is looking for an outstanding FX Artist to work on a new project - a realistic style action game with a high focus on believable interactions with the environment and cinematics.
Responsibilities
- Develop effects for combat systems: attacks, reactions, interactions with the environment and characters.
- Work with complex systems of effects and materials and their interaction with each other: wind, dust, water, dirt, blood, vegetation.
- Work with plugins (Prismatiscape and others) and interaction with the UE5 engine.
- Optimize game effects.
Requirements
- Portfolio/showreel with examples of great work.
- High skill in working with UE5: excellent knowledge of Niagara, material editor, knowledge of Chaos.
- Experience with tools such as Houdini/Ember Gen/Substance Designer.
