Job description
Looking for a game designer for a cooperative action-survival game in an indie studio.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop game mechanics (core/meta, progression, balance).
- Level design: build levels, scenarios, encounters, points of interest.
- Configure game entities and settings in Unity (prefabs, parameters, content).
- Introduce new content: objects, interactives, enemies/items, behavior logic.
- Work with documentation and task setting for the team.
- Generate ideas and participate in feature discussions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of game design experience.
- Strong skills in system/technical game design.
- Proficiency in Unity: configuring entities, settings, parameters, rapid prototyping.
- Understanding of cooperative games (fun, interactions, roles, chaos, balance).
- Ability to iterate and quickly bring features to a playable state.
- Experience with Git.
Conditions
- Experience with AI configuration and game balance is a plus.
- Experience in party/co-op projects is a plus.
- Skills in rapid level assembly and gray prototyping are a plus.
