Astra is looking for a Junior Test Automation Developer (Java) for an internship in Moscow. Responsibilities include running and analyzing automated tests, understanding failures, and making simple changes to existing test scenarios.
Responsibilities
During the internship, you will:
- Run and analyze automated tests.
- Review reports and logs.
- Investigate the reasons for failures.
- Make simple changes to existing test scenarios.
- As you progress, you will get acquainted with the team's stack — Java, Cucumber, Maven, as well as tools like Jira, Git, DevTools, Postman.
Requirements
You should have:
- Basic understanding of Java: variables, conditions, loops, methods, classes.
- General understanding of how a web application works: page, form, button, request, response.
- Basic knowledge of HTTP, REST API, JSON.
- Ability to work in one of the IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA or VS Code.
- Attention to detail, logical thinking, willingness to learn and understand new information.
- Own equipment for work and study.
- While undergoing the internship, you must be studying at a vocational or higher education institution.
