Job description
Blockaid is at the forefront of enabling trust in the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem. Our mission is to provide unparalleled security and trust solutions that safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of on-chain interactions. We are building a platform that secures digital wallets, smart contracts, tokens, and externally owned accounts (EOAs) by providing real-time detection, monitoring, and response capabilities.
Responsibilities
### What You’ll Do - Office Operations & Facilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day operations in the NYC office, from employee snack requests to equipment setup. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they become disruptions. You’re the person who needs to notice the broken lightbulb, the flickering Zoom TV, the empty paper towel roll, and smoothly fix the issues or escalate to the vendors who can. - Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, kitchen inventory, equipment, and office services; anticipate needs before they become asks. Coordinate with building management on maintenance, repairs, security, and space planning. - Partner with IT and HR on procurement, invoices, and expense coding. - Plan and own setup/breakdown for occasional team lunches or happy hours.
Requirements
### Requirements - 1 year of office management, workplace operations, or in an Executive or Admin Assistant role is a plus, but not required if you have relevant experience in a non-corporate environment. - Strong organizational skills and an unflappable demeanor. - A bias toward ownership and comfort juggling priorities and shifting gears quickly in a startup environment. - Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information. - Ability to lift and move office supplies up to roughly 20 lbs as needed. ### Even better - Experience supporting a company with multiple offices or a globally distributed team. - Background coordinating international travel or inbound visitor logistics. - Prior experience at an early-stage or fast-growing startup.
Conditions
### Why Blockaid - You’ll work alongside a small, high-caliber team that cares deeply about what we’re building and how we treat each other. On any given week you might be hosting visiting colleagues from Tel Aviv, London, or San Francisco, organizing a client dinner, and making sure the coffee machine is finally, actually fixed. If that sounds like your kind of work, we’d love to meet you! - We offer a supportive, agile, and creative work environment with brilliant colleagues! - Competitive compensation, ongoing recognition, and most of all, a chance to learn, contribute, and develop your skills. - The opportunity to join a startup at the cutting edge of technology, finance, and security. - Full-time, permanent employees are eligible for additional benefits such as healthcare (medical, dental, vision) including FSA options, 401(k), dedicated vacation and sick time, generous equity, and more!
