Job description
We are looking for a Product Owner with experience in managing product backlogs and cross-functional teams. The role involves defining product parameters, optimizing business processes, and improving customer journeys.
Responsibilities

- Manage the product backlog: prioritization, decomposition, preparation of tasks for development
- Lead a cross-functional full-cycle team (about 10 FTE + UX/UI)
- Gather, formalize, and agree on business requirements, develop CJM and user scenarios
- Participate in designing UX/UI solutions with designers
- Describe and optimize business processes (BPMN, draw.io, Archi)
- Define product parameters and roadmap considering resource constraints
- Control the stability of development and quality of feature delivery
- Be responsible for time-to-market and release of features/products (timelines, scope, quality, defects)
- Conduct discovery and research: CustDev, market analysis, and competitive solutions
- Define and monitor key product metrics, work on their growth
- Improve the customer journey and increase conversions at all stages of the funnel
Requirements
### Requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager for at least 2 years, preferably in mortgage or credit products
- Deep understanding of product and business analytics: unit economics, funnels (lead → approval → deal), conversions, LTV/CAC
- Knowledge of mortgage processes: deal processing, underwriting, scoring, working with collateral and registration
- Understanding of the specifics of interaction with developers and partners (agencies, brokers), including partner programs and interest rate subsidies
- Experience in fintech, banking, or PropTech is a plus
- Skills in working with legal and regulatory requirements (mortgage contracts, regulator requirements, compliance)
- Ability to build partnerships and negotiate with external contractors (developers, builders)
- Strong communication skills: negotiations, defending decisions, business correspondence
- Experience with CJM, user scenarios, and optimizing the customer journey
