QA Lead

WATT Studio is looking for an experienced and engaged QA Lead. If you can not only find bugs but also organize team work, influence product quality, and improve processes, we are waiting for your response.

- Organizing and coordinating testing processes - Managing the QA team: task distribution, mentoring, and development of specialists - Improving testing processes - Testing game projects - Finding, describing, and tracking bugs in the bug tracking system - Checking new features and content - Preparing test documentation: test cases, checklists, test plans - Interacting with the cross-functional team - Risk analysis and participation in release planning

- Experience as a QA Engineer / QA Lead on commercial projects (GameDev) - Understanding of the full game development cycle - Confident knowledge of testing theory and practice - Experience in team management or coordination of QA processes - Ability to build processes and systematically approach quality - Skills in maintaining test documentation - Independence, initiative, and a high level of responsibility - Attention to detail and understanding of game mechanics - Good communication skills - A plus: experience with Unreal Engine

Watt Studio is an independent development studio specializing in animation, previsualization, and visual effects for films, ads, and game industry projects, founded by Egor Tomskiy with 16 years of experience. The team started in 2018 as a small group of 5 artists working on the movie 'Invasion' and has grown into a studio using Unreal Engine. They emphasize strong visual skills and have produced proof-of-concepts and previses for Russian movies and advertisements.
