Job description
Kaspersky is looking for a QA Engineer to develop, debug, and support automated tests for MacOS applications. Candidates should have experience in testing and knowledge of Python.
Responsibilities
### Responsibilities
- Development, debugging, and support of automated tests and related infrastructure;
- Manual and automated testing of desktop software on MacOS (functional, integration, system, regression, stress, load, acceptance, localization, automated);
- Documenting test results: logging defects in the bug tracking system, preparing test reports;
- Test design and maintaining the current state of test scenarios;
- Setting up and supporting the test environment (preparing test data, setting up test stands);
- Running and analyzing results of automated tests;
- Interacting with development and analytics teams.
Requirements
### Requirements
- Higher education in IT/software development/mathematics and at least 1 year of experience as a testing engineer;
- Knowledge of Python: OOP usage, knowledge of standard libraries;
- Knowledge of operating system principles (Windows/Linux/Unix/Mac);
- Knowledge of Linux/MacOS;
- Knowledge of file systems: organization, mechanisms, features;
- Knowledge of network technologies, principles of network construction and protocols;
- Skills in working with git or other version control systems;
- Knowledge of types and methodologies of testing and ability to apply them in practice;
- Ability and willingness to learn and absorb large amounts of information;
- Responsibility and ability to complete tasks according to deadlines and priorities;
- Experience with scripting languages;
- Ability for self-learning.
