We are looking for a Senior Kotlin Developer to design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for financial products in the US market. Remote work available.
Requirements
• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs in Kotlin.
• Participate in shaping the architecture of a new platform and developing engineering standards.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries in complex financial domains.
• Write clean, maintainable, and test-covered code.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for product expansion.
• Strong commercial experience in Kotlin development.
• Proven experience in designing and building high-load backend services.
• Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and abstraction.
• Experience in complex, highly regulated business domains (fintech, banking, etc.).
• Working English for effective daily interaction in an international team.
• Plus: Experience with GraphQL.
• Practical skills with NoSQL databases.
• Experience in FinTech companies or projects with high compliance requirements.
• Experience with Kanban methodology or other flow-based Agile frameworks.
