We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer in game development, focusing on sandbox, physics, and multiplayer systems.
Responsibilities
### Responsibilities:
- Testing strategy: develop testing plans for sandbox systems (object physics, ragdoll, item interaction, player tools).
- Quality control: establish metrics and release readiness criteria for key game systems.
- Mechanic testing: verify complex interactions in sandbox environments and emergent scenarios.
- Root Cause Analysis: investigate systemic and hard-to-reproduce bugs (physics, simulation, network synchronization).
- Cross-platform testing: organize testing on mobile and web versions.
- Interaction with Dev team: collaborate with designers and programmers to enhance system testability during development.
- Network testing: analyze traffic and server system performance through proxy tools and APIs.
- Processes and mentoring: develop QA standards, work with documentation, and train other engineers in a systematic approach.
- Analytics: identify quality issues based on logs and player feedback.
Requirements
### Requirements:
- 4+ years of QA experience in the gaming industry.
- Experience testing sandbox mechanics, physics, or complex simulations.
- Familiarity with game editors (Unity, Unreal Engine, or equivalents).
- Experience with multiplayer projects and network interactions.
- Skills in network traffic analysis (Charles, Wireshark, etc.) and API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
- Ability to conduct deep technical analysis of bug causes.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
