Responsibilities
- Build automated test suites from scratch covering web, backend APIs, and critical trading flows.
- Define and own the release testing process.
- Deeply understand the product to identify what to test.
- Integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline.
- Use Linear to track issues and maintain visibility into quality metrics.
- Hire and mentor 2-3 additional QA engineers.
Requirements
- 3+ years in QA engineering or SDET roles, with time at startups scaling quickly.
- Strong automated testing skills with experience in modern frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
- Trading or fintech product experience.
- Crypto/DeFi familiarity.
- Full-stack testing experience across web applications and backend APIs.
- Comfortable with TypeScript or Python for test automation.
- Experience with CI/CD integration.
- Strong communication skills.
