Job description
The Cardano Foundation is an independent, Swiss-based not-for-profit organization. The Foundation is tasked with advancing the public digital infrastructure Cardano and works to anchor it as a utility for financial and social systems, thus empowering the digital architects of the future.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end to end, integration and API test automation frameworks.
- Build CI/CD quality gates that catch regressions before they merge.
- Obsess over edge cases: revoked keys, out of order events, race conditions.
- Test across Veridian’s full product stack: wallet, services, libraries.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to improve testability.
- Own test environments, test data management and reporting.
Requirements
- 3+ years in an SDET or test automation role.
- Strong hands-on experience developing production grade automation frameworks in languages like TypeScript and Java.
- Familiar with mobile testing (Appium, Maestro or similar).
- Background in security sensitive systems (key management, cryptographic operations).
- Exposure to fault tolerant domains (out of order messaging, connectivity failures).
- Comfort with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred), containers (Docker) and lifecycle tooling (Git, Jira/Confluence).
- Self motivated, independent and thorough in finding what others miss.
