Job description
Join VTB as a Streaming/Data Platform Engineer to design and create streaming ETL processes using Kafka, Airflow, SQL, and Arenadata Hadoop. Work remotely from Russia.
Responsibilities
- Design and create streaming ETL processes.
- Configure orchestration and create DAGs in Airflow.
- Integrate streaming data sources into the Data Lake.
- Ensure data quality control and conduct code reviews.
- Participate in acceptance testing and collaborate with related teams.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Kafka and Airflow.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Experience with Arenadata Hadoop.
- Good understanding of data warehouse architectures (DWH/Data Lake).
- Incident resolution experience on data platforms is a plus.
