Job description
An ambitious startup in the decentralized finance sector, backed by investments for over 3 years. We are creating a next-generation decentralized perp-DEX on Ethereum (zkSync L2).
Responsibilities
- Architect trading, risk, liquidation, and oracle systems.
- Design on-chain/off-chain component boundaries.
- Scale the protocol as liquidity and traders grow.
- Make architectural decisions for new markets and liquidity types.
Requirements
- Experience in DeFi or trading system architecture.
- Understanding or practical experience with perpetual derivatives protocols.
- Familiarity with protocols like dYdX, Hyperliquid, Lighter, Aster.
- Experience with high-load trading infrastructure.
- Knowledge of safety practices: limits, stop mechanisms, roles, and access.
- Experience in technical leadership: team synchronization, architectural decision-making, mentoring engineers.
