Job description
BCB Group is a leading provider of regulated payment and trading services in crypto and fiat for the digital asset economy. We provide accounts, cryptocurrency and foreign exchange market liquidity for some of the world’s largest, crypto-engaged businesses, including crypto exchanges, liquidity providers, market makers, investment firms, custodians, payment processors and wallet providers. Our end-to-end suite of products are accessible through our Client Console UI and API. We offer more than 40 fiat and cryptocurrencies, deep trading liquidity, 24/7 instant payments through our instant settlements network, BLINC, and secure crypto services. Our strong focus on compliance matches our technical and business expertise, and we are regulated by some of the world’s most respected regulators. Authorised in the UK, France and Switzerland, we place the utmost importance on our regulatory-first institutional principles. Our leadership team boasts years of relevant, high-level experience at globally-renowned institutions. They combine finance, law, regulatory and technology skills in traditional and crypto financial services with a deep understanding of the new digital asset economy. Our mission is to create the trusted platform to pay, store, trade and earn fiat and digital assets, globally 24/7.
Responsibilities
- Deliver banking and payments integrations predictably and at pace — with clear scope, no late surprises, complete functionality, and production-ready quality at launch. - Drive clarity from ambiguous technical, partner, and regulatory inputs so teams can execute without rework or delays. - Make sound build vs buy decisions, select the right vendors, and hold them accountable to agreed scope, timelines, and SLAs. - Understand and communicate how integration design choices and features impact customer experience and product performance (e.g. success rates, latency, coverage), and use this to guide prioritisation. - Deliver compliance-driven changes in a pragmatic way that maintains compliance without derailing the broader roadmap.
Requirements
- Proven track record delivering payments or banking integrations (e.g. PSPs, acquirers, Open Banking, card schemes) with predictable timelines and minimal rework. - Strong technical fluency — able to work directly with APIs, understand edge cases and failure modes, and turn partner docs into clear, complete requirements. - Ability to run complex, dependency-heavy deliveries in ambiguous environments, aligning engineering, compliance, and commercial stakeholders while maintaining control of scope and timelines. - Experience making build vs buy decisions and managing vendors against scope, timelines, and SLAs. - Ability to translate technical implementation details into customer and product impact (e.g. how routing, retries, or provider differences affect success rates and UX). - Experience delivering compliance or regulation-driven changes (e.g. FCA, scheme rules, PSD2/Open Banking) without stalling broader product delivery.
Conditions
- Opportunities for personal growth are exponential. You grow as the business grows. - The roles and responsibilities are broad and ever-changing, and the dynamism of BCB keeps you engaged and highly motivated. - Collaborating with teams on a hybrid working arrangement. - 30 days annual leave each year. - 4 days per year to prioritise your mental health. - 1 company volunteering day per year. - Strong benefits package including; Private Healthcare, Pension, Income Protection (long-term absence), Life Insurance, Menopause Policy, and an enhanced Parental Leave policy.
