Responsibilities
- Manage full general ledger accounting for assigned legal entities - Perform and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities - Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments - Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items - Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules - Ensure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements - Support preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors - Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation - Coordinate with AP, AR, HR, and Tax teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data - Support intercompany reconciliations and transactions - Contribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives - Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies
Requirements
- Master degree in Accounting, Finance or related - At least 5 years of experience in accounting - Experience working with multiple legal entities - Very good knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP and FRS 102 - Experience supporting statutory audits - Excellent communication skills - Fluent Polish and English (C1-C2) (written and spoken) - Other European languages will be a strong advantage - Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel - Experience with MS D365 is strong advantage - Experience in process transitions - Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
