# Graph Navigation Guide Master the Market Map controls to explore the hiring landscape efficiently. --- ## Basic Navigation ### Zooming - **Scroll up** — Zoom in (more detail, fewer nodes visible) - **Scroll down** — Zoom out (broader view, all clusters visible) - **Pinch** (trackpad) — Zoom in/out ### Panning - **Click + drag** on empty space — Move the viewport - **Two-finger drag** (trackpad) — Pan the view ### Selecting - **Click** on a node — Select it, view details in the side panel - **Click** on empty space — Deselect --- ## Toolbar Controls ### Domain Toggles Each domain has a colored toggle button: - **Click** to show/hide that domain vacancies - **Active** domains have highlighted borders - Useful for isolating specific sectors ### Seniority Filter Dropdown to filter by experience level: - **All** — Show everything - **Junior** / **Middle** / **Senior** / **Lead** / **C-Level** — Focus on specific seniority ### Score Threshold Slider that sets the minimum quality score: - **0** — Show all nodes - **5** — Only medium+ quality - **7** — Only high-quality signals - **9** — Only exceptional listings ### Search Type a company name, role, or keyword: - Matching nodes **highlight** and pulse - Non-matching nodes dim - Press Enter or click the search icon --- ## Reading the Graph ### Node Size Larger nodes = higher AI quality scores. At a glance, you can identify premium listings without reading details. ### Node Color Each domain has a distinct color. The legend in the toolbar maps colors to domains. ### Cluster Density - **Dense clusters** — Lots of hiring activity in that area - **Sparse clusters** — Limited activity or niche market - **Isolated nodes** — Unique positions that do not fit standard clusters ### Edge Patterns - **Short, thick edges** — Strong relationship (same company) - **Long, thin edges** — Weak relationship (shared domain only) - **Cross-cluster edges** — Companies or roles that span multiple domains --- ## Exploration Strategies ### Top-Down 1. Start zoomed out — see the full market topology 2. Identify the largest clusters 3. Zoom into areas of interest 4. Click individual nodes for details ### Targeted Search 1. Search for a specific company or role 2. Observe where it sits in the graph 3. Explore neighboring nodes and clusters 4. Use domain toggles to add/remove context ### Comparative 1. Toggle one domain at a time 2. Compare cluster sizes and densities 3. Note which companies appear across multiple domains 4. Identify overlapping hiring patterns
